Quick Start Guide

Step-by-step for End Users

Unbox & Inspect Your Device

  • Check the serial number and all device labels.
  • Make sure all parts are included (meter, sensors, seals, and gaskets).
  • Keep the packaging and all documents for reference.
  • If any part is missing or damaged, contact your supplier immediately.

Installation & Sensor Connection

  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified plumber or service technician.
  • Mount the device in the direction of the flow arrow on the pipe.
  • The red sensor should be attached to the “flow” (supply), the blue sensor to the “return”.
  • By default, devices are produced for return line installation; the return sensor comes pre-mounted.
  • The red-tagged sensor must be installed on the supply line.
  • Make sure a shut-off valve is present and working on the pipe.
  • After installation, bleed the system if necessary to remove any air.

M-Bus / Remote Reading Connection

  • Connect the M-Bus (wired remote reading) terminals on the meter in parallel to the network.
  • For M-Bus cabling, use 2x0.8mm or thicker twisted-pair wires.
  • All meters are connected in parallel (daisy-chain) to the master device.
  • No need for a separate cable for each meter in an M-Bus system.
  • Record the meter address/serial number and inform your site management or service provider.
  • If the cable length exceeds 350–500 meters, use a thicker cable section.
  • Be careful of short circuits and loose connections; use proper terminals and junction boxes if needed.
  • After wiring, test the connection with the M-Bus master. Each meter has a unique serial number.
  • For wireless models, no extra device is required—just follow the specific instructions provided.

Your purchase invoice serves as your warranty certificate. Please keep your invoice and device serial number. Your device is also registered in the DAF system.
